Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences organized “Constitution Day Celebration” with a focus on Legislative Awareness on 25th September 2025. The program was designed to deepen students’ understanding of India’s democratic framework and the vital role of citizens in upholding constitutional values.
The session featured an insightful address by Ms. Priyadharsini from Chengalpattu Government Law College, who highlighted the structure and powers of the Indian Parliament, including the functioning of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. She also offered practical perspectives on how young minds can actively contribute to strengthening India’s democracy.
The event drew enthusiastic participation, with 102 students engaging in the session and gaining valuable knowledge on legislative processes and civic responsibility.
The program not only enriched students’ awareness of the Constitution but also instilled a sense of pride and responsibility in shaping the nation’s democratic future.
