Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences Observes World Mental Health Day 2025

Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences observed World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2025 with the theme “Stress Management.” The event aimed to promote awareness about mental well-being and encourage students and faculty to adopt healthy coping mechanisms for stress in daily life.

The programme began with an invocation, setting a serene tone for the sessions that followed. The highlight of the event was an inspiring address by Ms. Pavithra Kamalanathan, the guest speaker, who shared practical strategies to manage stress and maintain emotional balance. Her talk encouraged students to practice mindfulness, self-care, and emotional awareness.

Prof. Dr. V. Ramnath, Principal, and Prof. Dr. B. Durga, Vice Principal, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of empathy, resilience, and collective responsibility toward fostering mental wellness. Faculty members and students actively participated, engaging in open discussions on emotional health and stress management.
