The second year, third year, and internship students of Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences (MCAHS) actively participated in the Nalam Kaakum Stalin Camp held at Avalur, Kanchipuram, and the Yamaha Camp conducted at Kuram, Kanchipuram, on 25th October 2025.
The camps were organized with the objective of providing essential healthcare services and promoting health awareness among the local population. Students from various disciplines extended their support to the healthcare professionals by assisting in general medical check-ups, patient registration, documentation, and health education activities.
Their enthusiastic involvement enabled them to gain valuable hands-on experience and practical exposure to community-based healthcare delivery. The outreach also enhanced their understanding of public health challenges, interdisciplinary teamwork, and effective patient communication.
