The Department of Pharmacology, Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI), successfully organized “Pharma Fiesta – April 2026” on 30th April 2026 at the Vesalius Lecture Hall, bringing together academic excellence and creative expression under the theme “Where Innovation Meets Celebration.”
Phase II MBBS (2024–2025 Batch) students actively participated, demonstrating their knowledge and creativity through a variety of engaging and innovative events. The highlights included Pharma Canvas, Digital Doses (E-content Creation), Rangoli, Educational Models, Drug Biographies, Scripts, Medibox Mystique, and Rolling Drug Reels, each reflecting a unique blend of scientific understanding and artistic presentation.
The programme featured inspiring addresses by Prof. Dr. K. Parimala, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, and Prof. Dr. K. V. Rajasekhar, Dean, MMCHRI, who appreciated the students’ efforts and emphasized the importance of integrating creativity with medical education.
The event concluded with a valedictory function, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. S. Vidhya Lakshmi. The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. S. Shanmugapriyan, Dr. D. Ganesh Kumar, and Dr. S. Vidhya Lakshmi, whose efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the event.
This academic engagement encouraged innovative thinking, strengthened subject understanding, and enhanced students’ ability to present pharmacological concepts creatively and effectively.
