Final-year students from the Departments of Cardiovascular Technology and Anaesthesia Technology, Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences, actively participated in a General Health Camp organized by MMCHRI in collaboration with Indian Yamaha Motors on 9th May 2026 at Pillaiyarpalayam, Kancheepuram.
The camp was conducted as part of the students’ clinical exposure and community healthcare training programme. Under the supervision of healthcare professionals, students were actively involved in various healthcare activities including blood pressure monitoring, outpatient registration, patient flow management, medicine distribution, patient guidance, and assistance in basic clinical procedures.
The programme provided students with valuable opportunities to interact directly with patients and understand the functioning of healthcare delivery in community settings.This field engagement offered students meaningful hands-on clinical exposure and significantly enhanced their practical knowledge, communication skills, teamwork, professional behaviour, and confidence in handling real-time clinical responsibilities in community healthcare services.
