The Founder’s Day Celebration Outreach Programme was organized by the Department of Community Medicine, Meenakshi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute (MMCHRI), in collaboration with ISO, NSS, and UBA, on 21st May 2026 at Karai Village, Kanchipuram.
The outreach programme was conducted with the objective of promoting community welfare, public health awareness, and environmental responsibility. The event featured several meaningful initiatives including a Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening camp, book donation drive, tree sapling plantation, and a clean village campaign.
The NCD screening camp focused on creating awareness about lifestyle-related diseases and the importance of early detection and preventive healthcare. The clean village initiative and tree plantation activities highlighted the importance of environmental sustainability and community participation in maintaining a healthy living environment.
The programme was attended by the Dean, Vice Principal (Academics), Vice Principal (Students Welfare), UBA Coordinator, ISO Coordinator, faculty members from the Department of Community Medicine, ISO team members, and NSS volunteers, whose active participation contributed to the success of the outreach activities.
