Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON) conducted a Nursing Career Guidance Programme at Swami Vivekananda Vidhya Peedam CBSE School, Sriperumbudur, on 10th August 2026. The programme aimed to create awareness among school students about nursing as a rewarding career and introduce them to the diverse educational and professional opportunities available in the nursing field.
The programme featured informative sessions by Mrs. S. Uma, M.Sc. (N), MSW, MA (Sociology), Associate Professor, and Mr. Karan, B.Sc. (N), Nursing Tutor. They explained the scope of nursing education, career pathways, professional opportunities, and the significant role of nurses in the healthcare sector.The students actively participated in the session and interacted with the faculty members, gaining valuable insights into nursing education and career prospects. The programme was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of the school management and staff.
