As per the Government of Tamil Nadu’s directives, Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences (MCAHS) organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Quiz Competition on 11th August 2026 to sensitise students to the harmful effects of drug abuse and promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Students from the II and III Year B.Sc. Radiology & Imaging Technology programme actively participated in the competition with enthusiasm. The quiz enhanced their knowledge of drug abuse, its harmful effects, prevention strategies, and the importance of making informed and responsible choices.
The programme encouraged students to become active ambassadors of drug-abuse prevention by spreading awareness about the dangers of addiction among their peers and in the wider community. The winning team was appreciated for its performance and encouraged to contribute actively towards promoting a drug-free environment.
The initiative served as an engaging platform to strengthen awareness, encourage responsible decision-making, and inspire young people to contribute to a healthier and drug-free society.
