Meenakshi College of Physiotherapy, MAHER, organised a guest lecture on “Recent Trends in Neurological Assessment” on 9 October 2026 at the Seminar Hall from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The session was delivered by Dr. Karthik Janarthanan, with the aim of familiarising students with current developments and advancements in neurological assessment.
A total of 87 undergraduate and postgraduate students participated in the programme. The session provided insights into contemporary neurological assessment approaches, their application in clinical evaluation and their role in identifying neurological impairments and supporting clinical decision-making.
The guest lecture enriched students’ academic understanding of neurological assessment and reinforced the importance of integrating current clinical practices with theoretical knowledge to strengthen professional competence in neurological physiotherapy.
