The Placement Committee of Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON) organized a Career Guidance Programme from 18th May 2026 to 26th May 2026 between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the Multipurpose Hall, AMCON.
The programme commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by a special address delivered by Dr. Kirupa, Principal, AMCON, who also introduced the resource person to the participants.
The sessions provided valuable insights into Artificial Intelligence (AI) fundamentals, stereotypes, resume preparation, prompt engineering, AI tools, IBM fundamentals, leadership skills, and self-introduction techniques specifically tailored for nursing students. The programme also focused on career opportunities in the healthcare sector, covering eligibility criteria for hospital recruitment, required qualifications, recruitment procedures, and competitive examinations essential for career advancement in the nursing profession.
The programme was highly informative and interactive, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of emerging technologies, professional competencies, and career pathways in healthcare and nursing practice. A total of 138 students benefited from the programme.
The sessions were well received by the students and proved highly useful in enhancing their career preparedness and professional development. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
