The R&D Committee of Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences organized a two-day hands-on workshop titled “Statistical Analysis for Researchers: From Basics to Applications” on 18th and 19th May 2026 at Lecture Hall 2, New Preclinical Block, Enathur.
The workshop was conducted for third-year undergraduate and first-year postgraduate students with the objective of enhancing their understanding of statistical methods and their practical applications in research.
The sessions covered essential concepts of statistics, data analysis techniques, interpretation of research results, and practical research methodologies through demonstrations, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises. Faculty members and resource persons specializing in biostatistics and research methodology from the Department of Community Medicine effectively guided the sessions, encouraging analytical thinking and research-oriented learning among the participants.
The workshop provided students with valuable exposure to the practical aspects of statistical analysis and its role in academic and clinical research. Participants actively engaged in the training sessions, gaining confidence in applying statistical tools for research projects and evidence-based studies.
