International Day of Mathematics Celebration

The Department of Mathematics and the Mathematics Club organized the International Day of Mathematics celebration, including a guest lecture to commemorate the day on March 21, 2024 at 10 am. On this day, puzzle-solving, drawing, and poster-making competitions were held, and students enthusiastically participated. At the end of the session, winning students were awarded prizes. The guest lecture, titled “Exploring the Impact of Complexity Theory on Modern Society,” was delivered by Dr. R. Vanaja, Associate Professor at SIMATS-Saveetha School of Engineering. A total of 110 students participated from the Department of MAHER FHS. The insightful presentations by our distinguished speaker significantly contributed to the understanding of complexity theory in real-life problems and how to solve them.
