Ms. S.M. Keerthana, a Second-Year BDS student of Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, brought pride to the institution by securing a Gold Medal at the 19th Chennai District Taekwondo Championship, held at Nehru Stadium on 27th July 2025.
Her outstanding performance has earned her a spot in the prestigious Khelo India League 2025–26, scheduled to take place at SRM University from 15th to 17th August 2025.
Her achievement reflects the growing involvement of dental students in competitive sports alongside their academic pursuits.
