MCAHS Students Gain Valuable Anaesthesia Insights at PAACE 2026

UG and PG students of the Department of Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences (MCAHS), participated in PAACE 2026 – Panimalar Anaesthesia Annual Conference, organised by the Department of Anaesthesia, Panimalar Allied Health Sciences, on 28 August 2026.

The conference featured a series of informative sessions centred on precision, progress, and patient safety in anaesthesia practice. The sessions covered a wide range of clinical topics, including the implications of hypertension and diabetes mellitus in anaesthetic management, management of postpartum haemorrhage, anaesthetic considerations for seropositive patients undergoing emergency and elective surgical procedures, anaesthetic management for cardiac surgery, and traumatic brain injury and its implications in anaesthetic management.

The conference also featured quiz competitions, e-poster presentations, case presentations, and prize distribution, providing students with opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and academic skills. The PG students of MCAHS secured a prize in the quiz competition, bringing recognition to the institution.

The event provided an academically enriching platform for students to expand their knowledge, engage with contemporary developments in anaesthesia practice, and strengthen their professional skills through interaction and participation.
