Meenakshi College of Nursing, in association with NAANDI Foundation and The Job Factory, successfully organised a seven-day Employability Skills Training Programme for VIII Semester B.Sc. Nursing students from 11 to 20 August 2026.
The practical, skill-oriented programme focused on developing essential competencies required for a smooth transition from academics to the professional workplace. Students received hands-on training in time management, money management, resume writing, and effective communication skills, with particular emphasis on communication and confidence required for successful job interviews.
The interactive training provided students with valuable insights into workplace expectations and encouraged them to develop greater confidence, professionalism, and preparedness for their future careers.
The programme concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, recognising the successful participation of the students. Mr. Deepak and Ms. Akshaya V. were specially appreciated for their outstanding performance during the training programme and were honoured with trophies for their exceptional participation and achievement.
The programme strengthened students’ professional readiness by enhancing practical skills, confidence, communication abilities, and awareness of workplace expectations.
