MMCHRI Strengthens Emergency Preparedness Through Chemical Spill Mock Drill

Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI) successfully conducted a Chemical Spill Mock Drill at the STP/ETP Plant to strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure a rapid and coordinated response to potential hazardous chemical incidents.

The mock drill focused on enhancing safety awareness, effective communication, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and evacuation preparedness among the stakeholders involved. The exercise provided an opportunity to assess emergency response mechanisms and reinforce the importance of coordinated action during chemical spill incidents.

The successful conduct of the drill was supported by the dedicated efforts of the Housekeeping Services, Security Department, Fire & Safety Team, STP/ETP Plant Operators, Maintenance Personnel, and ISO Committee. Their coordinated participation contributed to strengthening workplace safety practices and emergency response preparedness.

The initiative reinforced the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols in maintaining a secure healthcare environment.
