The Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences observed National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31st October 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The event aimed to promote the spirit of unity, integrity, and national security among students and staff members.
The programme commenced with an invocation, followed by a welcome address that highlighted the life and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, particularly his pivotal role in unifying the princely states and strengthening India’s foundation as a nation.
A Unity Pledge was administered to all participants, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the nation’s unity and harmony. This was followed by a visual session that revisited the historical journey of national integration and inspired the audience to value collective responsibility and patriotism.
The Vice Principal and faculty members appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and for spreading the message of unity, peace, and brotherhood.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, marking a proud tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s enduring vision of a united and strong India. A total of 129 students actively participated and gained valuable insights from this meaningful observance.
