Republic Day Celebration at MMCHRI

The Meenakshi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute (MMCH&RI), celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm on 26th January 2025 at 9:00 AM in its premises at Enathur, Kanchipuram. The event was graced by Captain M Ashahar Zia, Commanding Officer, INAS 312, INS Rajali, Arakkonam, who was the Chief Guest. The celebration commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, followed by the prayer song “Thamizh Thai Vazhthu.” Captain M Ashahar Zia then inspected the parade and took the salute before unfurling the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. Prof. Dr. K. Boopathi, Medical Superintendent of MMCH&RI, delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest, Captain M Ashahar Zia, delivered the Republic Day address, highlighting the significance of the day and encouraging students to contribute to the nation’s progress. The event also featured the honoring of students for their outstanding achievements by Prof. Dr. K. Boopathi and Dr. V. Eswari, Vice Principal (Academics), MMCH&RI. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. V. Eswari and the distribution of sweets to all attendees. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, staff, and students, reflecting their patriotic spirit and commitment to national values.
