The Vigilance Awareness Week Celebration was observed with great enthusiasm at Meenakshi College of Pharmacy on 1st November 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program began with the invocation of Tamil Thai Vazhthu, setting a traditional and reverent tone for the gathering.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. D. Chamundeeswari, Principal, Meenakshi College of Pharmacy. The Chief Guest, Mr. P. R. Sunil Kumar, Director, Delhi School, was warmly felicitated by the Principal. He was introduced to the audience by Mr. A. Anish Kumar, Lecturer, Department of Pharmacology.
In his insightful address, Mr. P. R. Sunil Kumar elaborated on the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility”, emphasizing the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in professional and academic life. He highlighted how vigilance serves as a cornerstone in maintaining ethical standards, ensuring compliance, and fostering a corruption-free culture—especially significant in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
The Vigilance Oath was administered by the Chief Guest, with all faculty members and students participating, reaffirming their commitment to ethical conduct and moral responsibility.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. K. Sudhakar, Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutics, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, Principal, faculty members, and students for their active involvement and support in making the event a grand success. The celebration ended with the National Anthem, marking a dignified and inspiring conclusion to the program.
