Workshop on “ELISA AND MICROBIOLOGY TECHNIQUES” was conducted by the Department of Research on 10.01.2024 at Advance Research Centre for Health Sciences, MAHER. Program commenced with a lecture delivered by Dr Nalini who provided a basic outline about the ELISA procedure. Subsequently, Dr. Sivamalar delivered a lecture covering the basics of microorganisms and Gram-positive staining protocols. A total number of 17 students participated in this program.
Followed by the lectures, demonstration and hands on training of ELISA and gram positive staining procedure were conducted. This hands-on approach allowed the participants to gain a thorough understanding of the techniques, enhancing their skills and knowledge in the field. The program outcomes were to provide the participants with a comprehensive understanding of ELISA and basic microbiological procedures, emphasizing their practical implementation in diagnostic applications.
