Dr. Andrew Edwards – Vice President and Dean, Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, visited Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research on Jun 8th, 2022. Mr. A.N Radhakrishnan, Chancellor of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research, welcomed the Chief Guest along with Trustee Thirumathi. Gomathy Radhakrishnan, Mrs. Jayanthi Radhakrishnan. Rector Mrs. Jayanthi Radhakrishnan and Registrar Dr. C. Krithika. Dr. R. Manikandhan and Dr. P. Anantanarayanan from the constituent college Meenakshi Ammal Dental College were also accompanied during the visit. Chancellor Mr. A.N Radhakrishnan and Rector Mrs. Jayanthi Radhakrishnan honored the Chief Guest with a shawl and bouquet.
The meeting began at the board room in MAHER campus with a welcome address by the Registrar, MAHER. The Registrar presented the salient features of the MAHER and its constituent colleges to the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest appreciated the salient features and congratulated the management for striving for excellence for four decades.
During the visit, the experts and chief guest have also discussed the possibilities for the recognition of MADC, MAHER for the International center for Royal college examinations, Academic & Research collaborations involving Student & Faculty training programs, Observership & clinical training, Faculty Development Programs, Joint funded projects, and Multi-centric trials. The Chief Guest expressed his positiveness towards the initiations.
