The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, along with MAHER Advanced Research Centre for Health Science (MARCH), conducted an awareness session for home science students in grades 11 and 12 at Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Virugumbakkam. Speakers of the programme included Research Scholars (Department of Nutrition and Dietetics) Ms. Vaishya R. D. and Mrs. Manju Bargavi S. They provided helpful insights on topics such as menstrual hygiene, the basics of nutrition, and foods to eat before an exam. Along with career assistance and employability options, students from the Government school also learned how to make informed dietary choices.
