The program started with tribal welcome dance. The chief guest, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Khader, Principal, Chendu College of Engineering, delivered a special address about unsung heroes and heroines from tribal community thus motivated the students to uphold for the welfare of the tribal people.
In this regard, competitions on Essay writing, Drawing and Elocution in the themes of “Current scenario in the Educational and Socio-economical status of Indian Tribes” were conducted which saw active participation of several enthusiastic students.
