Bharathiyar Birthday Celebration (15/12/23) Department of Tamil celebrated Mahakavi Bharathiyar’s birthday on 15th December. Speakers of this programme included Professor Dr. M. Muthuvelu, First Registrar (Retd.) of Central Institute of Classical Tamil, Chennai. Around 200 hundred students gathered to celebrate the legacy of this great Tamil poet. Students participated in several events such as ‘My signature in My Mother Tongue’, Book fair, debates competition on Mahakavi and later were awarded with prizes by our honorable principal, Dr. V. Shanthi and chief guest.
