The department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital in collaboration with TACT – Academy of Clinical Training conducted a One- day basic life support workshop on 30th March 2024.
Lectures and hands-on training program were conducted on Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation using adult and infant mannequins. Various emergency clinical scenarios were discussed and demonstrated using automated external defibrillators in case of cardiac arrest. The hands-on-workshop greatly benefited the postgraduate trainees and interns of the college.
