In celebration of World Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Day 2025, the IPR Cell of Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON), MAHER, organized an insightful guest lecture titled “IPR – An Overview” on April 3rd , 2025.
The session was presided over by Dr. Deepa Boppana (M.Sc., Ph.D., LLB) – an Indian Registered Patent Attorney, Founder of Bhavesh Associates – an Intellpat Patent Solutions, Chennai. A distinguished expert in patent laws and regulations, Dr. Boppana delivered a comprehensive and engaging presentation on the fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights, emphasizing patent processes, their real-world applications, and their pivotal role in fostering innovation.
The event was further enriched by the esteemed presence of Dr. Ponmurugan Paneerselvam, Dean of Doctoral Studies and Dean of IPR, MAHER, and Dr. Saravana Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Anatomy, MMCHRI, and IPR Coordinator, MMCHRI.
