The Faculty of Humanities and Science, MAHER, marked its Annual Day 2025 and Farewell Celebration with grandeur and enthusiasm on April 11, 2025. The event commenced with Tamizh Thai Vazhthu, followed by the traditional lighting of the Kuthuvilakku and a floral tribute to the revered Founder, Thiru A.N. Radhakrishnan.
A vibrant welcome dance by a student of III B.Com (General) set an energetic tone for the day, followed by a warm welcome address to the senior students by a second-year student. The Chief Guests, Mr. Ramthiyos Rajendran from German Digital Education and Mr. Franklin Vincent, were formally honoured by Dr. P. Sagayaraj, Dean – FHS, along with Shift I Principal Dr. V. Shanthi and Shift II Principal Dr. N. Prabhadevi. Mr. Ramthiyos Rajendran delivered an inspiring keynote, emphasizing global opportunities in higher education and career advancement.
A digital presentation highlighted the Annual Report, capturing the academic and extracurricular achievements of the past year. The event also featured the felicitation of outstanding students across various categories. C. Malleswari from III B.Com (General) was awarded for Academic Excellence, while N. Joyce Roseline from III B.Com (CA) was recognized for Demonstrated Leadership. Shiny Gladys from II BBA received the prestigious title of Golden Girl of MAHER FHS. The Placement Excellence Award and the Star of MAHER FHS title were also conferred during the ceremony.
The Farewell function, conducted in three heartfelt segments, was filled with lively performances, emotional reflections, and enthusiastic participation from the outgoing batch.
