FHS, MAHER Hosts Two-Day Professional Development Program on Building a Value-Driven Academic Culture

The Faculty of Humanities and Science (FHS) at Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) successfully conducted a Two-Day Professional Development Program on the theme “Professional Ethics, Attitude & Behaviour: Building a Value-Driven Academic Culture” on 11th and 12th June 2025 at the IIC Hall, MAHER.

This initiative aimed to strengthen the ethical foundation and professional outlook of faculty members, reinforcing the importance of values, attitude, and behavior in nurturing a progressive academic community.

The sessions featured distinguished guest speakers who brought in diverse perspectives and expert insights. Mr. Vishal, Business Transformation and Communication Coach from Chennai, engaged the audience with his dynamic approach to professional communication and personal effectiveness. Dr. V. D. Swaminathan, Honorary Chief Mentor of Thunai, Chennai, delivered an inspiring session that emphasized ethical decision-making, leadership grounded in values, and the transformative role of educators in shaping academic culture.

The program was conducted with the blessings of our Founder Chancellor, Thiru. A. N. Radhakrishnan, and in the esteemed presence of senior members of MAHER’s leadership. The active participation of 51 faculty members made the sessions lively, reflective, and deeply engaging.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving participants inspired and equipped to foster a more ethical, positive, and value-driven academic environment.
