The 2nd State Level Yogasana Competition 2025, held on 29th June at Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), marked the grand finale of this year’s International Day of Yoga celebrations. The event brought together over 1,000 participants from across Tamil Nadu, creating a vibrant atmosphere of athleticism, mindfulness, and unity.
Organized by the Faculty of Yoga Science and Therapy (FYST) with the wholehearted support of MAHER’s leadership, faculty members, and alumni, the competition served as a powerful platform for yoga enthusiasts to demonstrate their skill, discipline, and passion for the ancient practice.
The event reflected this year’s theme, ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’, emphasizing the role of yoga in fostering holistic well-being and environmental harmony. Participants engaged in a spirit of healthy competition, learning, and cultural exchange, highlighting yoga’s relevance in the physical, mental, and spiritual development of today’s youth.
