The Alumni Meet for the Silver Jubilee batch of BDS students (2001–2006) was held on 2nd August 2025 at Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, bringing together former classmates, mentors, and cherished memories under one roof. Organized by the Meenakshi Ammal Dental College Alumni Association, the event celebrated 25 years since the batch’s inception, honoring their professional milestones and continued bond with their alma mater.
The celebration began with a warm welcome address by Alumni Coordinator Dr. Geetha A., followed by an inspiring message from Principal Dr. Velmurugan, who highlighted the batch’s legacy and their contributions to the institution and the dental profession at large.
A heartfelt memory-sharing segment featured senior faculty members reminiscing fondly about their experiences with the batch, while several alumni shared personal stories of growth, camaraderie, and success, making the event both nostalgic and uplifting.
As a token of appreciation, commemorative mementos were presented to all attending alumni. A poignant moment of the evening was the announcement of an endowment prize in memory of a late batchmate and the donation of books to the college library—a generous contribution reflecting the batch’s spirit of giving back.
The event concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing not just a reunion, but a reaffirmation of enduring ties. The Silver Jubilee Meet stood as a testament to the lasting impact of student life and the strong sense of community shared by MADCH alumni.
