The Career Guidance Committee of Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute (MMCHRI) organized an invited talk on “Depression – Mental Illness, Diagnosis, Antidepressants, Stress and Time Management” on 13th August 2025. The session was delivered by Dr. Ankit Goel, PrepLadder Faculty in Psychiatry, who shared his expertise on identifying and managing depression, the role of antidepressants, and the importance of stress and time management in medical practice and academics.
The interactive programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 300 MBBS students of Phase III Part I and Phase III Part II, who actively engaged in discussions and clarified their queries. The session not only enhanced students’ understanding of mental health but also motivated them to adopt effective strategies for personal well-being and professional growth.
