The second-year students of Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences (MCAHS) actively participated in the medical camps organized by Meenakshi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute (MMCH&RI) on 15th October 2025. The camps were conducted at various panchayat unions, including Mandhaveli and Nedumpuli Village (Panampaakam) in Kanchipuram District.
The students played a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals with medical check-ups, patient education, and the delivery of essential medical services. Their participation reflected dedication, compassion, and teamwork, embodying the institution’s commitment to community health and service.
Through this initiative, students gained valuable hands-on exposure to real-world healthcare delivery and enhanced their understanding of rural health challenges, preventive medicine, and public health responsibilities. The outreach program served as a meaningful learning experience, reinforcing the importance of empathy and service in the healthcare profession.
