Science Club Activity at Meenakshi College of Physiotherapy Inspires Scientific Curiosity and Hands-On Learning

The Science Club session held on 24th November 2025 at Seminar Hall 3 brought together 100 enthusiastic first-year BPT students of Meenakshi College of Physiotherapy for an engaging and enriching learning experience. The activity was designed to stimulate scientific curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of electricity through practical demonstrations and creative chart work.

The program emphasized hands-on learning, allowing students to connect theoretical concepts with real-life applications. By actively participating in experiments and model-making, students strengthened their ability to observe, analyze, and interpret scientific principles independently. The session also encouraged creativity as students prepared informative charts and models that visually represented key concepts in electricity.

Beyond academic enrichment, the Science Club activity fostered teamwork, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving—skills essential for future healthcare professionals. Students enhanced their presentation skills and confidence by explaining their work to peers and faculty, contributing to their overall professional development.

The event successfully nurtured a spirit of innovation and inquiry, motivating students to explore beyond textbooks and engage in meaningful scientific discussions. The Science Club continues to serve as an inspiring platform for young learners to develop a strong scientific outlook and pursue knowledge with curiosity and enthusiasm.
