The faculty members of Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences came together to celebrate Pongal on 13th January 2026, commemorating the harvest festival with warmth, tradition, and collective joy. The celebration was thoughtfully organized to promote cultural values, unity, and positive interaction among faculty members beyond their academic responsibilities.
The programme began with a Faculty Pooja, invoking divine blessings and setting an auspicious tone for the celebrations. This was followed by a Rangoli Competition, where faculty members creatively expressed traditional themes through vibrant designs. The entries were evaluated based on creativity, neatness, and relevance to the festive theme, and the winners were appreciated with prizes.
Adding a light-hearted and enjoyable dimension to the event, fun activities such as the Biscuit Eating Challenge and Tongue Twister generated enthusiasm, laughter, and camaraderie among participants. The informal interactions strengthened interpersonal bonds and created a cheerful atmosphere across the campus.
