CME and Hands-on Workshop on Infertility Management by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MMCHRI

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI), successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme and Hands-on Workshop on Infertility Management, focusing on recent advances in the evaluation and treatment of infertility. The academic programme was designed to enhance clinical knowledge and practical skills among healthcare professionals through expert-led sessions and interactive learning.

The programme commenced with a formal inaugural session, setting an academic tone for the day. Eminent experts in the field of reproductive medicine delivered insightful lectures covering contemporary stimulation protocols, interpretation of semen analysis, and the role of medical management in male infertility. The sessions provided participants with evidence-based approaches and practical perspectives relevant to day-to-day clinical practice.

A key highlight of the programme was the interactive panel discussion on improving success rates in infertility treatment, which encouraged meaningful dialogue and exchange of clinical experiences among experts and participants. The afternoon session featured a hands-on workshop, including demonstrations and practical training on semen preparation techniques, enabling participants to gain firsthand exposure to essential laboratory protocols under expert guidance.

The CME and workshop were well received by faculty members, clinicians, and postgraduate students, who actively participated in discussions and practical sessions. The programme successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical application, reinforcing best practices in infertility management. The event concluded on a highly positive note, reaffirming the importance of continuous learning and skill enhancement in advancing patient care.
