The MAHER Placement Cell, in association with Meenakshi College of Arts and Science, successfully introduced a Value-Added Course titled “Insights on Tally for Business”, aimed at strengthening students’ employability and industry preparedness through practical skill development.
The programme witnessed an enthusiastic response, with 115 students enrolling, underscoring the growing relevance of hands-on expertise in accounting and business management software. Designed to align with contemporary industry requirements, the course offers practical exposure to Tally, enabling participants to gain in-depth knowledge of accounting procedures, financial management, and business reporting essential for real-world professional settings.
The course was formally inaugurated on 31st January 2026 at the MAHER Auditorium, in the esteemed presence of distinguished members of the Rotary Club of Chennai Kilpauk, whose participation emphasized the value of academic–industry collaboration in fostering skill-based education.
Through this initiative, students are provided with an opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical application, equipping them with industry-relevant competencies that enhance their career prospects in finance, accounting, and business operations.
