Meenakshi College of Pharmacy Organizes Mental Health Awareness Programme in Collaboration with TNSRLM

The Anti-Drug Committee of Meenakshi College of Pharmacy successfully organized a Mental Health Awareness Programme on 04 February 2026, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission (TNSRLM). The programme aimed to sensitize students to the importance of mental well-being and to promote healthy coping strategies in academic and personal life.

The event commenced with an inaugural address and a warm welcome to the resource person by Dr. D. Chamundeeswari, Principal, followed by felicitations. The session was led by Ms. Guna, a member of TNSRLM, who delivered an insightful and engaging seminar on mental health awareness, highlighting common challenges faced by youth and the significance of early recognition and support. An awareness video screened during the programme further reinforced key messages and encouraged students to reflect on mental wellness. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, marking the end of a highly informative and impactful session for the participants.
