The Research and Development Committee of Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI) organized a training programme on “Good Clinical Practice (GCP)” for postgraduate students on 21st April 2026.
The session was delivered by Dr. V. P. Karthik, an external expert, who provided valuable insights into the principles and ethical standards governing clinical research. The programme focused on key aspects such as patient safety, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and adherence to standardized protocols in clinical trials.
A total of 131 postgraduate students participated in the training, actively engaging in the session and gaining a deeper understanding of Good Clinical Practice guidelines and their application in research settings.
This academic engagement enhanced participants’ knowledge of ethical research conduct, strengthened their understanding of clinical trial protocols, and improved their preparedness for responsible involvement in biomedical research.
