The Valedictory Function of the Value-Added Course on “Insights on Tally for Business” – 3rd Batch was jointly organized by the MAHER Placement Cell and Meenakshi College of Arts and Science on 16th May 2026 at the MAHER Auditorium.
The programme commenced at 11:00 AM in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. V. Sureka, Registrar, MAHER; Dr. P. Sagayaraj, Dean; Dr. V. Shanthi and Dr. N. Prabhavathy Devi, Principals of both shifts of Meenakshi College of Arts and Science.
The chief guests for the occasion included Rtn. Karthik Surendran, President; Rtn. PCR Suresh, Secretary; Mrs. Padmasri; and Mr. Ravi Krishnan from the Rotary Club of Chennai Kilpauk. In their addresses, they emphasized the growing importance of accounting software proficiency, employability skills, and career readiness in today’s business environment.
A total of 111 students who successfully completed the course shared their feedback and expressed appreciation for the practical knowledge and industry-oriented training gained through the programme. Certificates were distributed to the participants in recognition of their successful completion of the course.
The programme highlighted the institution’s focus on skill development, career enhancement, and industry-relevant learning opportunities for students. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. M. Gayathri, expressing gratitude to the management, chief guests, faculty members, coordinators, and students for contributing to the success of the programme.

This academic initiative strengthened students’ practical accounting skills, employability readiness, and understanding of business software applications essential for professional growth.
