MMCHRI Observes Anti-Ragging Week 2026 with Pledge and Debate Competition

Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI) commenced its Anti-Ragging Week 2026 celebrations on 12th August 2026 with an Anti-Ragging Pledge, reaffirming the collective commitment of students and faculty towards creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and ragging-free campus environment.

The pledge encouraged students to uphold the values of dignity, mutual respect, friendship, and responsible student life while standing united against every form of ragging. The initiative served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere within the campus.

Continuing the Anti-Ragging Week celebrations, MMCHRI organized an engaging Debate Competition on 13th August 2026 focusing on the importance of preventing ragging and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity. The competition provided students with an opportunity to express their perspectives, participate in meaningful discussions, and reflect on their responsibilities in building a healthy academic environment.

The two-day observance successfully strengthened awareness about anti-ragging practices and inspired students to contribute towards a campus culture built on respect, empathy, equality, and responsible citizenship.
