Meenakshi College of Arts and Science (MCAS), in collaboration with the Research Department, MAHER, organised a guest lecture on “A Leap Towards NEP 2020: Unlocking Professional Growth with SWAYAM–NPTEL” on 19 August 2026 at the MCAS Computer Lab.
Dr. C. Valli Nachiyar, Dean – Publications, Department of Research, MAHER, served as the resource person and provided valuable insights into the significance of NEP 2020, SWAYAM, and NPTEL in strengthening academic knowledge and professional competencies. She highlighted how SWAYAM–NPTEL courses enable learners to acquire additional knowledge, develop industry-relevant skills, earn certifications, and pursue continuous learning through online platforms.
The session also emphasised the importance of skill development, certification, and research-oriented learning in shaping successful careers. The interactive programme witnessed active participation and encouraged faculty members to make effective use of online learning resources to enhance their professional competencies.
The session was coordinated by Mrs. Manjula, Assistant Professor and SWAYAM Coordinator, MCAS, and served as an enriching academic initiative that created greater awareness of the learning opportunities offered through NEP 2020 and SWAYAM–NPTEL.
