The Department of Pathology at MMCHRI organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event on Hemato Oncology on November 17, 2023. Dr. V. Eswari, Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology, welcomed the attendees, and the inaugural address was given by Dean Prof. Dr. K.V. Rajasekhar. A total 250 participants including faculty, post graduates and undergraduates of MMCH&RI actively attended the program. The guest speakers of the scientific session were Dr. M.Prabhu, MD, DM, Associate Professor and Dr.Narasimhapriyan Kannan MD, DM, Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology, JIPMER. They delivered insightful lectures on Interpretation of bone marrow aspiration and biopsies, and Approach to acute leukaemia respectively.
