The Faculty of Humanities and Science, Department of English, hosted a workshop titled e-LiteraTech: Digital Literacy for Academic Success on 9th September 2024, celebrating International Literacy Day. Ms. Usha Alagappan from the American Center, US Consulate, delivered the keynote, emphasizing digital literacy for academic growth. Dr. Pushpa Nagini Sripada, Head of the Department of English and Director of the Center for Online Education, felicitated the guests. Dr. Deepa Sundeswar, Principal of FOT, and Dr. Sagaya Raj, Dean of FHS, highlighted the significance of literacy in today’s digital age. The event, coordinated by Ms. P.M. Sindhu Bhavani, Assistant Professor of English, attracted 72 participants, who explored valuable resources from the American Center to enhance their English and research skills. The event was successfully conducted by the faculty of English department.
