MCAHS Students Strengthen Community Healthcare Skills Through Medical Camp at Kilambi

The Final Year and Third Year students of the Anaesthesia Technology (AT) and Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) programmes at Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences (MCAHS), MAHER, actively participated in a Medical Camp conducted at Kilambi, Kanchipuram, on 6th June 2026 in collaboration with Indian Yamaha Motors. The outreach initiative provided students with valuable opportunities to contribute to community healthcare while gaining practical clinical experience.

The camp focused on promoting health awareness and preventive healthcare among the public. Under the guidance of healthcare professionals, the students assisted in patient registration, guidance, basic health screening, and the effective organization of the camp, ensuring the smooth delivery of healthcare services.

Through active participation in the outreach programme, the students enhanced their practical knowledge, communication skills, teamwork, and understanding of community-based healthcare. The real-time exposure enabled them to develop greater confidence in handling healthcare responsibilities while appreciating the importance of preventive medicine and public health initiatives.
