The MAHER Placement Cell and Meenakshi College of Arts and Science (MCAS) successfully inaugurated the 4th Batch of the Value-Added Course on “Tally Skills for Business Readiness” on 2 September 2026 at the MAHER Auditorium.
The course has been designed to equip students with practical knowledge of Tally and business accounting, while strengthening their employability and preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the workplace. By integrating industry-oriented skills with academic learning, the initiative provides students with an opportunity to develop competencies that can support their transition into professional careers.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by distinguished representatives from the Rotary Club of Chennai Kilpauk, along with the leadership and management of MAHER. Their presence marked the commencement of another batch of the skill-development initiative, which aims to expand students’ exposure to practical and industry-relevant learning.
The launch of the fourth batch reinforces the importance of skill-based learning in enhancing students’ professional preparedness and bridging the gap between academic knowledge and workplace requirements.The course provides learners with practical accounting skills and greater confidence to navigate the expectations of the modern business environment.
