The Pongal Celebration held on 12th January 2024 at MAHER was a vibrant and joyous occasion, filled with various competitions and cultural activities. The event commenced at 9:30 AM and unfolded a day of festivities, promoting cultural engagement and friendly competition. Participants showcased their creativity through intricate and colorful rangoli designs, setting a lively and artistic tone for the day. Participants demonstrated their culinary skills by preparing the traditional Pongal dish, creating a festive atmosphere and filling the air with delightful aromas. The Tug of War competition brought in excitement and teamwork to the forefront. Participants engaged in friendly yet intense battles of strength, enhancing the spirit of camaraderie among the participants and spectators. The unique Uriyadi competition challenged the participants to break a Uri, a simple knot made of rope, while blindfolded. The excitement heightened as players navigated through the obstacles and successfully shattered the Uri within the stipulated time followed by the final dance competition.
