Under the Auspices of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research, World Diabetes Day was observed on 14/11/2023 at Thirupanangadu village under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Scheme, National Service Scheme and Department of Community Medicine under the guidance of Dean Dr.K.V.Rajasekhar and Dr.K Shankar (Professor and HOD), and under the supervision of Dr.K.R.Pandiyan (Associate professor) Coordinator Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Dr.Gopinath (Associate professor) and Dr M Sakthivel (Senior Resident). The programme was organized by all the faculties and Postgraduates of the Department. The rural population was informed about the programme on the previous day. Health camp was conducted with 10 CRMIs, medical officers, nurses of rural centers with other staff.
