World diabetes day was observed on 28/11/2023 in Sitiyambakkan village by the Department of Community Medicine, MMCH& RI.. A total of 87 beneficiaries participated in the event. The event started with screening of FBS and PPBS estimation, blood pressure monitoring for the general public followed by Health education on the topic of Nutrition and Diet practices for diabetics and Wound care practices for Diabetics was demonstrated by CRMI’s through skit (Role play).
