Ms.J.Vijaya Kumari, PhD Scholar under the guidance of Professor and Head Dr.R.Elangovan has done extended activities to the public during the covid Pandemic. Vijaya Kumari distributed fruits, green leafy vegetables, Kabasura kudineer, Amla along with distributing food packets to the shelter less people and front-line health care workers. The social work was recognised and news was covered by Dinakaran daily newspaper dated 10th May2020. The event was appreciated and blessed by the receivers as it helped to satisfy their hunger.
