MAHER Organizes One-Day Seminar on Research Perspectives in Health Sciences in Collaboration with Elsevier

The Department of Research and  IQAC, Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) successfully organized a One-Day Seminar on “Research Perspectives in Health Sciences” on 6th August 2026 at the MAHER campus, Chennai, in collaboration with Elsevier, with their sponsorship and support.

The seminar brought together PhD scholars, faculty members, and students, providing an enriching platform for academic exchange and knowledge sharing. The sessions focused on contemporary developments in health research, research development, scholarly resources, and emerging perspectives shaping the future of healthcare research.

The programme featured an esteemed panel of speakers, including Dr. Nandu Krishna, JIPMER; Dr. Sakthivel M, MAHER; Dr. Sheeba Pakkan, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysore; Mr. Subramanian, Head – eSales, South Asia & Southeast Asia, Elsevier; and Dr. Nandini S, MAHER. The speakers shared valuable insights into various aspects of health sciences research and highlighted the evolving role of research in advancing healthcare.
